Realty Group Website

A website redesign for Life Changes Realty Group to engage current customers and generate leads

Problem

Life Changes was struggling to generate web traffic and faced an influx of client complaints about navigating their site. With new business growth, Life Changes sought a website refresh to better capture their brand and support their clients.

Solution

I redesigned and developed their website using WordPress CMS, infusing more branding and personality into the interface and experience. The site saw an immediate increase in visitor traffic after launch—so much so that they had to upgrade server capacity to handle the higher volume.

Goals

Over a four-month timeline, I collaborated with software engineers and the marketing director. After informally gathering feedback from managers and retail employees about their vision for a wiki that could scale with growth, the marketing director and I defined the project goals.
Optimize design for mobile users
Standardize the operational procedures
Implement onboarding training courses
Implement a system for merchandising replenishment

Discoverability

Life Changes wanted clients to feel a low-stress, low-pressure experience with the new site. To make property searches easily accessible, we dedicated a page to this function, prominently featured in the main navigation. All searches occur within the site, keeping clients connected and engaged.

Branding

Users were missing out on experiencing the genuine care of the Life Changes brand. To give the site a more relational feel, I incorporated warm images of real client experiences and wrote simple, personable copy, moving away from the salesy tone of larger brands. I also highlighted Life Changes’ charity matching program, which had been absent from the previous site.
Meet the Team
To help clients feel more connected to their realtors, I developed a “Meet the Team” section. Each agent wrote their own biography, and contact information was easy to find. Sharing glimpses into agents’ personal stories created a warm, human connection that is often missing on larger brand websites.
